Together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with the support of the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC International Development Fund, we continue to implement the "Sustainable Rural Development" initiative. As part of this initiative, asphalt paving works are being carried out in the Khazarasp and Urgench districts of the Khorezm region.
Currently, asphalting and major road repairs are underway in the Muhamon, Kamolot, Navröz, Buyuk Siymo neighborhoods of Hazorasp district and Hidoyat, Hilol, Yuqoriovul, Merganovul, Jayhun, and Uyshin neighborhoods of Urgench district.
As part of the project, more than 50 km of rural streets will be asphalted, which will allow 20 thousand residents of 10 remote mahallas to move on smooth and clean roads without dust.
We are striving to improve the quality of life of the rural population, create an ecologically clean and healthy environment, and strengthen public infrastructure.
