Together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with the support of the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC International Development Fund, we are consistently continuing the "Sustainable Rural Development" initiative. As part of this initiative, large-scale work is being carried out to improve drinking water supply in the Khankin and Bagat districts of the Khorezm region.
Currently, work is actively underway to lay drinking water networks in the Ilgor and Pahlavonlar neighborhoods of Khanka district, as well as in the Navröz, Uzumzor, Uzgarish, and Hunarmand neighborhoods of Bagat district.
Within the framework of the project:
- remote mahallas will be connected to the new drinking water supply system;
- more than 30 km of pipeline will be laid;
- more than 10 thousand residents will have access to quality drinking water.
We strive to improve the living standards of the rural population, create an ecologically clean and healthy environment, and strengthen public infrastructure.
