The new Mahalla Service Centers, built with the support of the Islamic Development Bank, have opened in the Buston (Hazorasp district) and Hamid Olimjon (Yangibazar district) neighborhoods of Khorezm region.

"We are very happy that the mahalla service center was built in our village. There are sewing courses, foreign language courses, a library, a fitness center, a coworking space, a workshop for repairing electrical appliances, and men's and women's barbershops. "This will create opportunities for young people to acquire new knowledge and even find employment!" said Zumrad Sobirova, an activist from the "Buston" mahalla.

📌 By the end of the year, about 900 social infrastructure facilities - kindergartens, schools, polyclinics, and other important institutions - will be commissioned in remote villages of our country. The electricity supply, water supply, irrigation and sewerage systems will be improved, as well as new asphalt roads and lighted sidewalks will be built.

"We chose the problematic facilities in our neighborhood ourselves and voted to include them in the Rural Sustainable Development project. Most importantly, as a result of this project, our lives are improving!"
