The MSG "Uyshin" was created on 08.04.2013 by the decision of the khokim of the Urgench district under No. 500k. The total area of the MSG is 3504 hectares. The MSG building was built in 1987 and was previously on the balance sheet of the local water management. After the collapse of the USSR, part of the building was sold to private individuals, and the rest, 2 rooms, were temporarily used as an MSG office. By the decision of the district khokimiyat in 2021, this part of the building was transferred to the balance sheet of the MSG. At the moment, the office of the MSG "Uyshin" requires major repairs. MSG "Uyshin" is located in the northern part of the city of Urgench, approximately 9 kilometers from the regional center of Urgench. The MSG includes the settlements of "Uyshin" and "Uyghur". In total, the population of the MSG "Uyshin" is 2894 people. (including 1165 women), 611 families, of which 589 families live in private households, 22 families - in apartment buildings. On the territory of the community there are 3 multi-storey buildings, in the residential sector there are 375 private households. The number of working-age population is 467 people, of which 311 people work in various organizations, 134 people are engaged in seasonal work, 195 women are caring for a child, 76 people are labor migrants working outside the country, 18 people are entrepreneurs, artisans and the rest are engaged in other types of self-employment. The number of unemployed is 18 people.
