The mahalla citizens' assembly "Arna buyi" was formed on the basis of the resolution of the Khakimiyat of the Amu Darya district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated August 20, 2013 and was defined as an adjacent mahalla to the rural citizens' assembly "Urta kal'a". According to passport data from January 1, 2022, the population of the MSG "Arna buyi" is 4148 people, of which 1288 are men, 1414 are women, and 1446 are youth under the age of 18 (1180 families, 770 households).
