The mahalla citizens' assembly "Dustlik" was formed on the basis of the resolution of the Khakimiyat of the Amu Darya district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated November 16, 1998 and was defined as an adjacent mahalla within the SSG "Urta kal'a". According to the passport data of the MSG "Dustlik" dated January 1, 2022, the population of the mahalla is 3777 people, of which 1481 are men, 1938 are women, and 358 are young people under 18 years of age. In total, 913 families in 570 households live on the territory of the MSG. The MSG "Dustlik" is located at a distance of 3 km from the center of the Amu Darya district of the city of Manghita and occupies 196 hectares of land.
