The Mahala citizens' assembly "Dustlik" was formed on the basis of the resolution of the Khakimiyat of the Turtkul district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated August 8, 2013 and defined the Mahala citizens' assembly. According to the passport data of the MSG "Dustlik" dated April 1, 2023, the population of the MSG is 5850 people, of which: 3294 men, 2556 women, including youth aged 0 to 18 years 1802 people (1200 families, 1050 households).
