The Obihaet MCG was organized on March 26, 2020, before that time it was part of the Shimom MCG. The Obihaet MCG is located along the Nukus-Tashkent highway, before the city of Beruni. The total area of the MCG is 556.8 hectares. There are 32 streets on its territory, of which 14 are straight, 11 are narrow, 5 are dead ends and 2 are branched streets. There are 19 multi-storey buildings on the territory of the MCG, 588 single-storey houses built by the residents themselves. There are 1236 households, 1616 families. There are 32 young families.

The total population of the Obihaet MCG is 5604 people, including 2533 women. The number of pensioners in the MCG is 493 people, including 275 women. Families that have lost their breadwinner – 7. Low-income families – 348. Families receiving child care benefits for children under two years of age – 80; for children under 18 – 193 families. 75 families receive financial assistance. There are only 26 large families in the MSG, of which 11 have 4 children, 9 have 5, and 6 have more than 5 children.
