The Rural Citizens' Assembly "Sarabiy" was formed on the basis of the Resolution of the Khakimiyat of the Ellikala District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated January 7, 1978, No. 34 and was defined as the central rural citizens' assembly. The RCA "Sarabiy" includes 3 adjacent mahallas: RCA "Koshkura", RCA "Ikhlos" and RCA "Amirobod". According to the passport data of the RCA "Sarabiy" dated April 1, 2023, the population of the RCA is 9,569 people, of which: 4,709 men, 4,860 women, including 3,334 youth aged 0 to 18 years (2,479 families, 1,812 households). The SSG "Sarabiy" consists of 5 settlements: "Sarabiy", "Vayskhuzha", "Nurli ton", "Olotli" and "Suvharosi" on 827.2 hectares of land. The SSG "Sarabiy" is located at a distance of 35 km from the center of the Ellikala district of the city of Bustan.
