The mahalla citizens' assembly "Koshkіra" was formed on the basis of the resolution of the Khakimiyat of the Ellikala district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan dated March 13, 2017 No. 158/3 and was defined as adjacent to the rural citizens' assembly "Sarabiy". According to the passport data of the MSG "Koshkіra" dated January 1, 2023, the population of the MSG is 6,846 people, of which: 3,451 men, 3,395 women, including youth aged 0 to 18 years 2,626 people (1,621 families, 1,072 households). The MSG "Koshkіra" consists of 3 settlements: "Koshkіra", "Pop", "Yuzukchi" on 900 hectares of land. MSG “Koshkura” is located at a distance of 29 km from the center of Ellikala district of the city of Bustan.
