The mahalla citizens' assembly "Chupon" was formed by Resolution 414/7 of the khokim of the Ellikala district on July 21, 2014. The MSG "Chupon" includes 2 settlements "Berdakh" and "Chupon". The total area of the MSG is 771.6 hectares. The population of the MSG is 7434 people, including 3878 men and 3556 women. There are 733 preschool children and 1336 school-age children. There are 1301 households in the MSG, in which 1528 families live. Of the working-age population of the MSG, 594 residents work in enterprises and institutions. 129 people are engaged in entrepreneurship, including 3 people in national crafts, 35 people in trade, 602 people in livestock farming, poultry farming and beekeeping, 90 people in other types of entrepreneurship. 969 people are engaged in seasonal work, 162 people are self-employed. There are 416 labor migrants, 205 unemployed.
