The MSG "Kusshylyk" was organized on November 12, 2021. Its total area is 318 hectares. The MSG territory borders on the MSG "Takhiatash" of the Takhiatash district, on the one hand, on the "Naimankol" sherkett farm of the Khodjeyli district, on the other hand, on the "Hamza" sherkett farm of the Khodjeyli district. The Kungrad-Tashkent and Tashkent-Beyneu railways pass through the MSG territory in 2 places. The MSG includes 3 settlements - "Kum aul", "Kusshylyk", "Askeriy kalasha" ("Military town"). The chairman of the MSG is assisted in his work by koshe biys elected by the local population - respected people who manage all the activities of the streets or small villages - "koshe". There are 10 such "koshe": "Tashauz", "Yeshimbetov", "Naiman", "Lomonosov", "Firdousi", "Tatibaev", "Ataniyazov", "Michurin", "Khurliman", "Kusshilyk". All of them are headed by men, but along with them there are also women elected by the residents themselves - women's "koshe biyi", who supervise the preparation of traditional treats for events (flatbread, baursaks, sweets, etc.). Five years ago, the Takhiatash TPP, which is located next to the houses of the military town, was reconstructed. As part of the TPP reconstruction project, a decision was made to resettle the residents of this town to a safe zone, but to this day, the population of 30 households suffers from the lack of basic living conditions (unsuitable roads, the emergency condition of their prefabricated houses built in the last century). There is no kindergarten in the village, the distance from the school is 3 km, there is no medical center, which closed in 1995. There are about 100 children in the town. In 2020, the state carried out a partial reconstruction of the water supply system on the territory of the MSG "Kushilyk". The total population of the MSG is only 1907 people, of which 943 are women.
