Kagan district is located 12 km from the city of Bukhara. The main occupation of the local population is fruit and vegetable growing. The rich landscape of Kizilkum, rare animals - these are the natural and landscape features of the Kagan district. Kagan district is included in the list of settlements that have potential for the development of ecotourism and inclusion in tourist routes in the future. Kagan district is an administrative unit in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. The administrative center is the city of Kagan, which is not part of the district, is located in the city of Kagan. Date of foundation: September 29, 1926, area: 510 km², largest city: Kagan, population: 82,616 people, official language: Uzbek. There are 32 archaeological, 29 architectural monuments and 2 landmarks of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the district. The most famous of them are: mazars of Bahauddin Naqshband, Sayyid Amir Kulal and Khuzha Kabul Akhror Vali. As of 2023, the Kagan district includes 23 rural citizens' assemblies, including the following rural citizens' assemblies that will be improved within the framework of this project: Mustaqillik, Yangi hayot, Navruz, Beklar, Sarayon, Choloki, B.Naqshband, Kogon.
